There's not enough I could say regarding how pleased I am with Lawn Doctor of Denton. Since receiving service in January 2025, my front and back lawns have made a huge turn around. The moment I first called, I was impressed. Tammy spent a whole hour explaining and answering all my questions and was so in tune to my concerns; she wanted only the best for what I was hoping to achieve. I must say she never pushed a sale but did break down various options according to my needs. The whole team is thoughtful and wonderful, from the front office down to those I have met when they have come out to service the lawn. Shout out to Tammy, Julie, Alex, and Zack. Lawn Doctor has been super helpful and reliable on helping us maintain our front, side, and back yard. We live next to a greenbelt and field of grass so we had weeds consume our back yard which destroyed our grass in the past. Since then, I shopped around and found Lawn Doctor to help us. We've been using them for about 4 months now and I can say that our yards look really good. I don't see any weeds and I can see some grass growth in certain areas that have had bald spots. The level of care they have for my lawn has been top notch. Also communication has been fairly easy with them. Their transparency with pricing has also been very appreciated letting us know what goes into what service and for how long the service will be. My grass has never looked better while using Lawn Dr. Lawn Dr. has never wasted a minute of my time with" We're not sure when we'll be arriving", "Sorry we did your neighbor's yard and we cant come back for 2 or more days" or "Oh we're sorry we only did the application to your front yard". these are some of the excuses I received while dealing with Trugreen. Tammy Ramos who handles the office side of Lawn Dr. is courteous, professional & is very attentive to her customers needs. If you want your yard to stand out above the rest, Lawn Dr. is the service you need. The technicians who service my property are also professional & courteous, knowledgeable & arrive on the days that meet my "picky" needs. Lawn Dr. can be summed up in 1 word, outstanding! Lawn Doctor is the best lawn fertilizer/chemical company that I have used in the Denton area. Over the past ten years, I have used 4 previous companies and was never satisfied with them or their results. Lawn Doctor’s technicians listen to your lawn concerns and develop a plan to meet those needs. You become a team with them. They always explain chemical applications, answer questions, and are quick to follow-up with any lawn concerns. Customer service is unmatched, they are super helpful and polite, and always willing to answer any questions or address concerns. Our yard was nearly 80% yellow/brown grass, and within a month it was back to lush green and better than we've ever seen. We had an armyworm problem that we were concerned wouldnt go away after our first treatment, and they came back on very short notice and treated again to ensure the problem was fixed. Can not say enough good things about their customer service, the owners are both wonderful people and very helpful. Definitely use this company for any of your yard needs. ~ David L

I had lawn aeration scheduled but had a birthday yard sign for my daughter set up so we had to reschedule. Then it was raining the next time we had it scheduled. We recently moved to the area and I wanted to get a nice start on our new lawn for our new house. I reached out to Lawn Doctor of Denton and some others. They were the most responsive. They were personable and friendly. I felt like I was talking with a neighbor. They’ve done a great job! They’ve been out a few times and our yard is one of the best looking yards in the entire neighborhood! They are easy to contact and always very responsive if I have questions or need anything. Lawn is already the best in the neighborhood. I’m in a new build community and builder put down crappy landscape. Called lawn doctor and now I have neighbors asking me how I got my lawn looking well. Do yourself a favor, mow your own grass otherwise services carry over weeds from previous lawns they mowed with their mowers and bring to your lawn and then have lawn doctor take care of the rest. This is my second house I’ve used them and I have zero complaints. ~ Matthew M

The staff that comes out is always polite and discuss with you your concern. If they don’t have an answer they reach out for one. Scheduling with them over the phone is easy, polite and upfront. This is the 2nd year I have utilized their service. Overall, my yard has improved, weeds under control, no ant issues, and all small plants surviving healthy with the extreme Texas heat. Since using the lawn doctor for my lawn care service I’ve noticed a drastic change for the good in my grass is greener thicker and looks very nice. Lawn Doctor of Denton provides quality service. They are professional. They are very knowledgeable about lawn care and trees and shrubs. I also had fire ants and they were able to treat for them. I thought my lawn was dying and they were able to see that I had a fungus on the lawn and was able to treat it. After the third treatment the lawn is looking healthy again. This saved me a lot of money where I did not have to re sod the lawn. I like knowing that the company is ran by a Veteran. ~ Sofia

I have been using Lawn Doctor for a few years. Their customer service is top notch. They accommodate my schedule with my dogs on when they spray the lawn. They give informative tips and stand behind their services. They spray for mosquitoes and a few times it rained soon after, so they have come multiple times to redo it. This company does amazing work! They completely transformed my yard from a weed lot to a beautiful Bermuda lot. It takes some time but it’s absolutely worth it! We have enjoyed the last two years of service! Unfortunately, we had a significant weed issue when we moved in and decided to use a competitor. There was some improvement, but it was not adequate. They give reminders via text when they are scheduled to treat your lawn & give option to change appt if needed.
